This file contains two sceneries part of Québec Short Hops and close to the Maine, USA border, to make your VFR visit in Québec much more interesting. It includes Ste Virgile Airfield (fictitious) and actual Ste Lucie de- Beauregard Airfield. I will add other fields close by so one can hop/visit VFR, all the way deep in 'La Belle Province'
Those who criticize my fictious fields should bear in mind that still today, for the bush pilot, often an airstrip is just about anywhere one can settle a plane down and take-off. When choosing a field, I keep it bumpy with the grass as is, tall or not. It adds to realism and I love the challenge should it be hard to get in and out.

This scenery was made to be used (preferably) WITH 'Golden Wings' scenery enhancement for FS2004, created by Lynn and Bill Lyons and availabe FREEWARE at: http://windrfters.com/
If you do not get it, it will still perform as it should but I strongly suggest you consider its installation. More details at the above link. Also, please read about the MESH below. Anyway, wichever one you are using, this file is free so you won't be waisting much if you try it.
Not tested but should work in FS2002. If you do, DO NOT USE THE AFCAD FILE QB15 IN THE ADDON FOLDER.
Ste Julie will list in the 'go to airport' menu but Ste Virgile will not. It's coordiantes are: N46*42.62 W70*23.86

KNOW ISSUES and other stuff:
There is no runway in Ste Virgile. Simply pick a spot and land. The field is at a slight angle from half way and certain spots have tall grass.
Nit pickers and bug chasers are NOT welcomed to send me their comments. You do not like it, sorry, I will double your money back. Just send me a copy of your invoice.
If I find a way to improve an item or a texture, even if this item or texture is used in a previous release, I reserve the right to change it anytime.

"qc09_2K4a.zip, qc09_2K4b.zip, qc09_2K4c.zip, qc09_2K4d.zip" and
"scenes_du_quebec_2k4.zip" This latter one includes all the others like "ilesstlaurentqc.zip" and more.

I N S T A L L A T I O N
If you do not have a Quebec Short Hops folder "Quebec SH9" where you usually install your sceneries, make one and make also one subfolder named scenery and another named texture.
You should then have:
xxxxxxx/Quebec SH9/scenery
/texture
As many of my textures are repeated from one scene to the other, this will use lot less room on your hard drive. Or, if you prefer, you could copy the CONTENTS ONLY of the texture folder into the main texture folder of FS9.
During installation overwrite when prompted to do so.
1- Place the CONTENTS ONLY of the scenery folder in the above scenery folder you created.
2- Then, do the same with the CONTENTS ONLY of the texture folder to go into the texture folder.
3- Place the CONTENTS ONLY of the Addon Scenery folder (if any is included with the download) into:
xxxxxxx/Flight Simulator 9/Addon Scenery/Scenery
4- Place the CONTENTS ONLY of the effects folder (if any is included with the download) in the Effects folder of your Flight Simulator.
You need to activate Quebec SH9 in the scenery library IF NOT DONE PREVIOUSLY.
